Join us in the park for a fun exploration! Preschoolers and their parents go on a nature hunt to find colors, shapes and textures using our senses to discover what is in our parks. Parent participation is required. Fee is per child. Dress for the weather.

Preschool Open Gym

Bring your little ones on Mondays and Fridays to Preschool Open Gym! The gym is set up with age appropriate toys and equipment for you and your child to play and have a safe, fun time. This is a drop-in program, no registration is necessary. A fee is collected when you arrive, or purchase a POG pass for quick entry. An adult must accompany every child or family of children. Safety City

Safety City is an early childhood education program for children 5-6 years of age who are getting ready to enter the school system. The Dublin Division of Police, Washington Township Fire Department and other local guest speakers visit throughout the week to discuss safety awareness and preventive procedures.

Intro to Ceramics
Jodi Osborne
Learn the basic hand-building techniques including pinching, coiling and slab construction. Explore texture and color while creating a variety of fun and useful sculptures. Creativity and expression are emphasized while children create projects based on their own interests.

Karate/Beginners
David Agler & Allen Fankhauser
This introductory class covers 30 basic upper and lower body techniques (kihon). Additional course work includes basic self defense, break falls and rolls. No prior experience is required. All participants receive a course manual. Instructors provide information on Gi (uniform) and IWKA membership (additional fee). Belt work for this class includes: white, yellow-stripe, and yellow. Friday classes take place in Fitness Studio 1. Enrollment deadline is one week before each program session.

Karate Intermediate/Advanced

This novice class is intended for students with some prior experience or who have completed the beginner class curriculum. Instruction includes the continued study and practice of kihon, introduction to kata (prearranged fight sequences) and introduction of kumite (sparring). Instructors provide information on sparring equipment and belt promotion (additional fee). Belt work for this class includes: blue, green, and brown for Intermediate and purple and black for Advanced. Enrollment deadline is one week before each program session.

Learn about kitchen safety, basic food preparation and proper use/care of kitchen equipment in this fun, age-appropriate cooking class. Menu items include: Easy Cheesy Bacon Tart, Fruit Parfait, and Cinnamon Twists. Participants will take home the tasty treats and a copy of each recipe. Children with any food allergies should contact Jen Vosters at 410-4573 prior to enrolling in this program.

Safety City Plus

Safety City Plus is a new program developed for children 6-8 years of age who have already entered the school environment. Safety City Plus has three concepts: Safety at Home; Safety at Play and Safety on the Way. Each age-appropriate area allows children to demonstrate what they have learned in regards to safety awareness and preventive procedures and empowers them to build new safety skills so they are able to make the safe choice wherever they go.
