Helpful Hints for Camp Registration
Plan Ahead of Time
-
Decide which camp program and/or site fits your family’s needs
-
Decide if you want to purchase or pack lunch for camp
-
Use the Camp Registration Numbers chart to determine which class numbers correspond to the camp you want to register for
-
Circle or highlight the registration numbers you want so they are easy to find on registration morning

Plan to register the first day you are eligible to, as soon as registration begins

Registration is ONLINE ONLY
-
Log on to our online registration system no later than March 29 to make sure your account is set up correctly and you can access your account http://dublin.oh.us/recreation/online-registration/

If you have trouble accessing your account, please contact the recreation center at 614-410-4550
-
Ask someone to help get your kids ready on registration day or lay out clothes/breakfast/lunch the day before registration
The Day of Registration
-
Registration does not begin until 6 a.m. - we do not recommend logging on to your account before 5:50 a.m. because you run the risk of our system timing you out
-
After completing your registration, remember to print your receipt - this is your confirmation that you have enrolled in camp
-
If, at any time during your registration, you need to shut down your computer or close our registration site you MUST exit the registration site by clicking on “Log Out” in the upper right corner of the screen - if you don’t log out, you and the recreation center staff, will be locked out of your account for at least 15 minutes

If you do not get your first choice for camp, put your name on the waitlist (if available) - our waitlist enrollment is free and available starting April 4

If you do not get your first choice for camp, register for your second choice
After Registration
-
Confirm your summer plans (vacations, grandparent visits, etc) and make any needed adjustments to your camp registration by April 20 at Noon - your first two changes, per camper, are FREE during this time period

The final day to request a refund or make changes to your camp registration is May 4 at Noon - we will not process any refunds after May 4 at Noon ($25/change or refund/camper)

Please note that families who choose the All 9 Weeks/Priority Registration cannot make changes to their registration or request refunds

All 9 Weeks Registration does not include the weeks of August 6-10 & August 13-17**

**You can add the two “extra” weeks of camp online on April 2 & 3, AFTER adding your 9 week enrollment to your shopping cart. Please see the Registration Numbers below.

Special Needs Participants
DCRC promotes an inclusive policy for all of our programs. To provide the best overall experience for your child, an appointment must be made for an inquiry of needs. Please contact Jodi Shealy, Special Needs Coordinator, at 410-4574. This must be done before March 16, 2012 to assure placement in our summer camps. If you participated in camps last summer you will still need to have an updated accommodation plan.
