Dublin Police Motorcycle Patrol
The City of Dublin was the second Central Ohio community to feature motorcycle patrols in its police division (following Columbus).
The BMW R 1100 RT-P motorcycles are based on the R 1100 RT civilian model. They have been tailored to meet the needs of police officers featuring special lighting and siren systems, a fire extinguisher, auxiliary cooling fans to cool the engines when idling or running at low speeds for long periods, and a large alternator to keep the battery charged when the motorcycles are being used for extended periods of time.
