Code Enforcement Activities
The City of Dublin Department of Code Enforcement is responsible for ensuring compliance with a broad range of public health and safety regulations including zoning, health, parking, public nuisance, illegal signs and other City codes.
When our Code Enforcement Officers investigate a potential violation, they do the following:
-
Inspect the property
-
Photograph potential violation(s)
-
Send a notice of violation to the property owner
-
Re-inspect the property to ensure compliance
Our main goal is to ensure the overall quality of life in our community by bringing potential code violations to the attention of our residential and corporate property owners. Whenever possible, officers make contact with the property owner or person responsible for the code violation prior to issuing a violation notice.
