Plan Implementation

Plan Implementation

The 2007 Dublin Community Plan includes over 340 pages of comprehensive and well-thought consideration of the City’s future vision.  Plans are only as effective as the efforts used to implement its goals and objectives, and Dublin’s policy expectations require a coordinated effort on many levels to ensure successful implementation.  Chapter 10 describes the general framework by which the Plan should be implemented.  With many specific policies to be considered for implementation, the yearly work of City Council to establish goals sets defined priorities and emphasizes what is most important.  In addition, the efforts of City staff are also focused on striving to achieve Council’s priorities, as well as tackling other minor Plan policies on a daily basis.
