2012 Muirfield Village Capital Improvement Projects
Water Line Replacement Project | Sewer Lining | AEP Cable
Improving and preserving the infrastructure of our resident neighborhoods is an investment in our City that adds value and high quality city services for our residents. The first phase of Muirfield Village was built 40 years ago. While these neighborhoods have maintained their beauty and real estate desirability – the infrastructure (sewer pipes, waterlines and underground utilities) are in need of repair and restoration.
In 2012, the City of Dublin will begin three Capital Improvement Projects, approved by Dublin City Council, designed to improve the infrastructure and services to sections of Muirfield Village.
While these improvements are needed and will extend the life of waterlines, sewer lines and underground electric cable – we understand there may be some inconveniences to residents during the construction. We want to provide you updated information, maps and contact information to direct questions and concerns.

2012 Sewer lining
Beginning the week of January 30, Reynolds Inliner, a contractor hired by the City of Dublin, will be in Muirfield Village installing Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) in clay sanitary sewer pipe during the next few months. This will be the first phase of additional sewer lining projects in Muirfield Village. More information will be available as phases are scheduled.
CIPP will increase the life of the sanitary sewer pipe by 30 to 50 years, as well as re-establish the integrity of the sanitary sewer system by reducing clean water infiltration.
Some residents will need to reduce their water use for several hours during the lining process. City staff and/or Reynolds Inliner will personally notify these residents.
