Events Administration coordinates, plans and promotes the City of Dublin's signature events, the Dublin Irish Festival, Dublin's Independence Day Celebration, Dublin's St. Patrick's Day Parade and Halloween Spooktacular. Events Administration also handles the permitting of Community Events held in the City of Dublin.
The Dublin Irish Festival, has earned national and international recognition as a premier celebration of the Irish culture and music. Dublin Irish Festival
From the reenactment of a turn-of-the-century Irish wake to traditional dancing, from rock music to imported shopping, this event has it all. The three-day Dublin Irish Festival focuses not only on fun, but on cultural and historical enrichment, too. Make the festival a learning experience by taking a workshop in the spoken word, observing the lives of Irish-American soldiers in the 1860s, or studying the Irish influence on popular American music. Historical and educational opportunities are vast.
Christmas Tree Lighting
The City of Dublin invites the entire community to get into the spirit of the holiday season in Historic Dublin. Activities include the tree lighting ceremony and arrival of Santa.
Halloween Spooktacular
It’s all treats and no tricks as the City of Dublin invites the entire community to its Halloween Spooktacular at Coffman Park and the Dublin Community Recreation Center. Both indoor and outdoor activities are sure to scare up a good time.
Memorial Golf Tournament
The Tournament held at the Muirfield Village Golf Club, is a major PGA Tour event that features the best golfers in the world hosted by Jack Nicklaus.
Independence Day Celebration
The City of Dublin turns red, white and blue for this community event. Featuring the annual parade, nationally acclaimed entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.
