CONSENSUS ITEMS/MOTIONS CARRIED

  • Motion carried 7-0 to authorize direct payment by the City of up to $5,000 to a qualified contractor, as identified by the City, for installation of a backwater prevention device for the eight properties on Dumfries Court, which have experienced the recent water in the basement event; homeowners to submit an itemized proposal/estimate from a qualified contractor to install the device and such proposal/estimate will be reviewed and approved by Engineering staff.  Staff is also authorized to make any reasonable adjustments to the contract amount for installation of the device, above the $5,000 cap, based on circumstances related to the individual properties.  Legal staff will prepare a modified waiver/release form to accommodate this program.

  • Motion carried 7-0 to waive the Council Rules of Order in order to meet outside the City of Dublin for the Council goal setting retreat on Thursday, February 23 and Friday, February 24 at Sparkspace Conference Center, 300 Marconi Boulevard, Suite 206, Columbus, OH   43215.

OF INTEREST

  • The Council goal setting retreat is scheduled for Thursday, February 23 from 5:30 to 9 p.m., and Friday, February 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sparkspace Conference Center, 300 Marconi Boulevard, Suite 206, Columbus, Ohio   43215.

  • The Community Development Committee will meet on Monday, February 27 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers to review the “Beautify Your Neighborhood” grant applications for 2012. 

  • The next regularly scheduled Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 13 at 7 p.m.  An executive session, if necessary, will take place at 6:30 p.m., prior to the 7 p.m. Council meeting.
