2010 Grand Marshal

Nomination Deadline: Friday, April 9, 2010
The City of Dublin’s Independence Day Celebration includes the naming of the Grand Marshal. This honor will be given to an individual or couple who has made a significant contribution to the City of Dublin through their volunteer efforts and leadership roles. The Grand Marshal will lead the parade and serve as a dignitary for the Independence Day Celebration.
The individual or couple recognized with this award will meet the following criteria:

Must be a resident(s) of the City of Dublin for at least three consecutive years or
-
Must be a corporate citizen(s) of the City of Dublin for at least three consecutive years
-
Must be an active leader(s) in the community on a volunteer basis and/or
-
Must have been involved in service projects or volunteer efforts outside of work requirements in the past year
-
Must have demonstrated patriotism through the development of community or community values
-
Must attend the Independence Day Celebration
-
May not be a current elected official or running for office
-
May not have been recognized by the City in the past 5 years
